"The
Hedgerow" course is
a splendour with its hedges,
age-old trees,
and wonderful
green fairways.
When combined with the
9 holes of "The Sea",
"The Hedgerow" is
the official
course for competitions,
18 holes with two very
difficult holes, n° 11
and 16. Its
greenery is typically
Norman,
rich in colors in the spring
time when the rhododendrons
blossom. At the end of
the course, holes 16 and
17 are very long (with
a par 4) and the green
of hole n°18 is surrounded
by
large bunkers and
the quality of the fairways
enables the golfer to play
in the best conditions (the
18th green has many bunkers).
The 18th hole
is just 420 yards long,
but your second shot may
be difficult.
In
June 1944 during the 50th
anniversary commemorations
of the ALLIED LANDINGS
in Normandy, each hole
was named after a great
personality of the Second
